When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Drawn and edited during my break in revision yesterday.
It was 65th anniversary of D Day and was watching the service on TV with my mum. I remembered visiting the graves of the fallen soldiers in Normandy a few years ago and I remember how saddening it was to see so many un-named graves, and how awful would it be to not know where a loved one was buried. So I was overwhelmed with compassion and decided to create this a little piece indiscriminately in memory of all fallen soldiers. Quote is obviously from For The Fallen by Laurence Binyon. Quick drawing but I hope you like all the same. By the way, I also found this war poem particularly moving and I thought I would share it. The Final Inspection |
