I don't know when, or even if I'll get the chance to colour these line-arts I've been doing lately.

This is one of the film missing moments which I was surprised they didn't show... (did they? I'm having a little bit of a brain malfunction and can't remember. I don't think they did.)
I mean, you got to see Harry watch Snape trudge around his office, but no Harry pining after Ginny? It's really no wonder that people who only watch the films do not understand the Harry/Ginny relationship. The only times we ever see them is when they spontaneously kiss. Film-wise, they've never dated.

Same goes for the Ron/Hermione dynamic, it's really not properly there in the films, (they've put a dynamic there, I don't feel like it's canon Ron/Herm though).
I was sitting in my standard 7 hour lab session the other day and somehow my bench got onto discussing Harry Potter. Now clearly they were not as obsessed as me, so I downplayed how much I loved it since I had another 4 hours to go until the end of lab and didn't want to sit in awkwardness.
(Xander: 'Who ends up together again?' Me: 'err... it's Ron and Hermione, Harry and Ginny... isn't it?')
Anyway, my partner, Xander, thought the whole Harry/Ginny and especially Ron/Herm were ridiculous. ('Like that would ever happen!') I kept my mouth shut.
One particularly Rah girl even had the audacity to say she was a big Harry Potter nerd as well, at which I internally laughed. She then went on to explain how the first two films were crap and boring but the forth film was her favourite...
I am very proud of my own self-restraint.

I try to hide my HP geekiness in the outside world. I save it until they know me and then BAM, explosion of Potter.

I'm not saying that people who love the films but have never read the books aren't fans, just don't get into a debate with someone who knows ALL the facts, right? In case you can't tell, I'm a big Potterhead, too.

I agree. After the second film, there was a lack of Harry/Ginny moments in the rest of the films. I blame David Yates and the script writer and whoever else, for ruining Harry and Ginny's relationship!!
Seriously, tieing shoelaces and zipping up dresses were the most awkward for Harry and Ginny.

Ron and Hermione's relationship was probably the only good romance in the films, but it wasn't enough for all of us fans because again, they missed a few really awesome scenes.

Agree. Yates (AND CO.) is an idiot that ruined Harry Potter And Ginny Weasley. I mean would it ,like, hurt them to do the 'first kiss' scene from the book?
Or the fact that they were dating? That ment so much to Harry...And they ripped it away from him...From us PotterHeads. The shoelace thing is just absurd...Ginny Weasley (in the books) doesnt do shoelaces. Seriously. She was so badass in the books and in the movies shes just ..."eh." Plus Bonnie has blue eyes not chocolate brown ones :p
Ron and Hermione were...Nothing like in the books in my opinion. They had zero chemistry. It was like "Oh. We're ment to be... Lets suddenly fall in love. Then get me outta here. " It was to obious that Rupert and Emma are really good friends. But in the books it was like sure from day one. Atleast to me.
In the last two movies there was more Harry/Hermione action. Seriously. In the books they were friends but here they were...Flirting. All the time. :/
Movies SUCK. Or Yates (and co.) does. :)
