DH: Deeper Than A Teaspoon by Catching-Smoke DH: Deeper Than A Teaspoon by Catching-Smoke
I thought it about time I did some book illustrating again, but I've got that thing where I've looked at the picture for too long and now don't like it as much. I've edited it a little since yesterday though, it's a little better.
I am hoping to change it more, but I need to continue with the commissions I've got going at the moment.
Admittedly I didn't really look at the quote before drawing the picture, drawn from what I remember of the scene, so they'll probably be loads wrong... sorry.

I just love this scene anyway, it's such a sweet scene. Just think of Hermione's face, I don't think I've drawn the expression quite how I imagined it, but it's such a lovely expression it'd be hard to do it justice.

'Blimey, I hope they escaped,' said Ron, leaning back on his pillows. The tea seemed to be doing him good; a little of his colour had returned. 'I didn't get the feeling Reg Cattermole was all that quick-witted, though, the way everyone was talking to me when I was him. God, I hope they made it... if they both end up in Azakaban because of us...'
Harry looked over at Hermione and the question he had been about to ask- about whether Mrs Cattermole's lack of a wand would prevent her Apparating alongside her husband- died in his throat. Hermione was watching Ron fret over the fate of the Cattermoles, and there was such tenderness in her expression that Harry felt almost as if he had suprised her in the act of kissing him.

I didn't get the end part of '...there was such tenderness in her expression that Harry felt almost as if he had suprised her in the act of kissing him.' Can someone please explain to me? Call me stupid or anything you want, just PLEASE TELL ME.

I love this scene ! The "Ron and Hermione's moments" in the last book are so great ! I love the drawing and the expression on their faces.

I love how you've drawn them all, but Hermione especially stands out, there's such emotion on her face. :D

Harry's always creeping in the background. No matter what, he's always there, observing.

That scene. It brought so much squee to my flat that night. So much squee.

I notice you've been going for a more lean and also slightly more elongated look in face s recently (either that, or I'm just talking out of my artsy fartsy arse). I like.
